Where can I find reviews and opinions online for Tivax DT-01 Amplified Indoor Digital TV Antenna
Although it works for a few people, a lot of people have had difficulty picking up stations with it even though they mount the antenna in a flat area with no tall trees, hills, or buildings.
I suspect it's just not powerful enough (not enough gain) to get good reception in most areas where people are on the outskirts of towns and are far away from transmitting towers. Of course, if they were close to transmitting towers, they'd also be close enough for cable...
If you're far from your local transmitting towers and have a clear view of the sky, you might be happier with one of those satellite TV subscription services or maybe even ordinary cable.
