sharing wireless connection via cross cable?
sorry for asking this noob question. i've been searching the way to share wireless connection, however all the results are just for sharing wired connection. so i've no choice but to ask here.
again with my question, im using win xp sp3 on both my pc, pcA with wifi donggle, and pcB with nothing.
i connected both pcA & B with cross cable and inserted ip for them. after that, i can use the file & printer sharing as well. just 1 thing, once i connected them with cross cable, pcA seems cant online. once i unplug the cable or disable the local area connection, the internet connection is ok. again i replug the cross cable, internet connection seems to no respond. can anyone help me with the problem? thanks in advance.
pcA ip=192.168.1.2
pcB ip=192.168.1.3
pcA wifi ip with DHCP enabled = 192.168.0.2
you cant use a crosscable to share your wireless that kind of defeats the whole purpose of wireless use Wired Internet if you are going to use a cross cable
