how do I fix the picture on my 42 inch Toshiba flat screen?
1. colors are really...intense? the reds are way red, etc.
2. picture isn't as clear as it should be.
3. when there's no picture, but the dvd screensaver is on, u can tell there's a little bit of 'snow' in the background
any help?
It sounds like you have some terrible cables being used. You can't have a massive 42" screen with bad cables. If you want a decent picture, use HDMI or Component. A better cable will solve 2+3. Issue 1 sounds like you just need to adjust the tint, which you can do with the remote, but not until you install the new cable.
Snow can also be caused by a poor signal when trying to get TV off the air.
