DTV Converter box. Suggest me a good one.m Bought DTVPal, but not too happy.?
Hi, I already bought a DTV Pal (from Echostar) and have the following issues. I want something which is better than this one. I am looking for the following features.
1. Something which has an Universal Remote control to control my TV and other devices.
2. A device which can position the program guide at the bottom, instead of the top like DTV Pal.
3. A device which can pull more hours of programming over the air than DTV Pal. Right now I get about 12hrs.
Also, does someone know of a good Universal remote which can be programmed to used with DTVPal?
I'm have the DigitalStream 9500- It has the analog pass through for low power stations. I have a crisp picture- the audio is just Ok-- could be my recording devices.
The onscreen guide is very legible, on top. or basically on the full screen.
I have no issues with this turning off. The remote is universal so I can use it for the ole vcr and Tv. Hope this helps. Good Luck
