What a neat trick for the DTV converter box?
I am a Charter Cable customer and had to downgrade to basic cable. Loosing a lot of channels. I got the coupon for the DTV converter box and hooked it to my cable line just to see what would happen. Boy It was Christmas. to the 19 channels I had and now gained 70 extra channels. The DTV converter box let channels slide through.
I managed to get 3 HBOs and 2 showtime channels and a butt load of other channels. I even get the Music choice channels. It works great.
i have cox basic and im using a used cox digital box to get extra channels. it works perfectly except that the channel numbers dont match the actual channels.
